Itinerario

• Día 1 -Aeropuerto - Hotel - City Tour (Tour Compartido)

  Lo recogeremos del aeropuerto de Cusco y lo llevaremos a su hotel. Por la tarde, visitaremos la catedral, Qorikancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara y Tambomachay antes de regresar a su hotel.

• Día 2 -Super Valle Sagrado - Aguas Calientes (Tour Compartido)

  Lo recogemos aproximadamente a las 7:00 a.m. de su hotel en Cusco y visitamos Chinchero, Moray y Maras. Almuerzo en Urubamba incluido. Después de visitar la parte arqueológica de Ollantaytambo, tomaremos el tren a Aguas Calientes y lo trasladaremos a su hotel.

• Día 3 -Machu Picchu – Cusco (Tour Privado)

  Our guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to Machu Picchu, where you’ll visit main areas like the Temple of the Sun, the Intiwatana, and the Temple of the Three Windows for 2.5 hours. Afterward, you’ll have free time to explore and take photos. Return to Aguas Calientes by bus and enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice. Be mindful of your train schedule and arrive at the station 30 minutes early. Our team will be waiting for you at Ollantaytambo to bring you back to your hotel in Cusco.

• Día 4 -Cusco – Humantay Lake – Cusco (Private Tour)

  Tour starts with pick-up from your Cusco hotel at 4:00 am. We travel for 2.5 hours to Mollepata for breakfast. We then continue to Soraypampa, admiring the landscapes and vegetation. We hike for 2 hours to reach Humantay lagoon at 4200 meters above sea level. Our guide performs a small ceremony, then we return to Soraypampa for lunch before heading back to Cusco.

   

• Día 5 -Cusco – Rainbow Mountain – Cusco (Private Tour)

  We pick you up from your Cusco hotel around 3:30-4:00 a.m. and head to Cusipata for breakfast. Then we continue to the mountain of colors for a 2.5 hour walk to the summit at 5000 meters. After taking photos, we descend and return to the restaurant for lunch. Finally, we return you to your Cusco hotel.

• Día 6 -On the Way to Puno (Group)

  In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at the Bus station. This is a really nice bus trip that is more like a tour as it stops at four interesting sites along the way. Where you have guided tour and lunch at a restaurant. Places we will visit are:

   

  • Andahuyalillas: Sistine chapel of South America: this church is one of the most beautiful examples of Andean popular religious art. (It leaves at 7:00am and arrives at about 5pm.)
  • Raqchi (Wiracocha God Temple): This was an Incan church of monumental dimensions; 100 meters long, 26 meters wide and 14 meters high. The temple is divided in two naves and each nave shows 11 giant columns, that’s huge!
  • La Raya: This is the half-way point between Cusco and Puno and also the highest point (4335 meters above sea level). The landscapes here are stunning and typical Andean animals like llamas, alpacas and vicuñas are common. It is also the geographic border between two cultures, the quechua and Aymara.
  • Pukara: This is the most important and oldest ceremonial center of the altiplano. There are interesting life like sculptures and tombs. The trip also includes a really nice lunch buffet in a Sicuani town.

  We will arrive late in the afternoon to our Comfortable hotel in Puno.

• Día 7 -Floating Uros and Taquile Islands (Private Tour)

  Early in the morning we will transfer you from the hotel to the port and then by motor boat. We will take you to one of the legendary islands of Uros, where you can observe the lives of the Uros people who live on the floating reed islands. After a beautiful three-hour boat ride, we reach Taquile Island, where we will break into smaller groups to stay with the local families.

  You have the opportunity to trek to the top of the mountain (4150 m.a.s.l) to see the Temples of Pachamama and Pachatata. Enjoy the traditional customs of the island people. Food and authentic music prepared and performed by your designated family. Then, we return back to Puno and transfer you back to your hotel.

• Día 8 -Departure

  After breakfast, we will take you either to Juliaca (airport) or Cusco.

  Option 1: Transfer to Juliaca airport, located only 45 minutes away from Puno.

  Option 2: Transfer to the bus station and back to Cusco.
